Easter finery

This Easter week, It's all about florals!

I have had this classic fit and flare dress, with it's large and colorful
watercolor floral print for several years.
This Easter week, I decided to add a peach split sleeve blouse underneath
to change it up.

For accessories I choose a 40's polka dot fabric box bag
and dainty feminine jewelry.

I saw this outfit as an opportunity for some subtle pattern mixing,
so I wore a pair of much neglected black with bronze and gold striped ankle straps.

Next, flowers with ruffles!  Easter and the coming of spring is a good time
to pull out all the frills.
Pink, peach and coral floral dress with asymmetrical rows of ruffled tiers.

Accessorized with a silver tone link bracelet, blingy rhinestone earrings
and a white beaded 50's vintage clutch.

Soft pink tie heels and an ivory bow belt to finish.  Super girlie!

I didn't notice how similar this last outfit is to the first one,
until I was putting together this post.
It's funny how it takes a photograph to drive  point home-
I do love the fit and flare style!

Another dress that has been loved for several years,
this one in a blue and green floral and foliage print.
An ivory 3/4 sleeve blouse underneath.

Worn with simple acsessories

and my well loved strappy heels with a bold striped handle bag.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter holiday!

Red belted jumper 3 ways

I like to keep getting dressed simple and streamlined whenever possible!
A sleeveless dress or jumper is a great way to get a variety of looks from layering
a basic piece, like this red jumper.
The first wear is with an abstract printed mock neck blouse with bell sleeves
 layered underneath the dress.

I wore this dress with vintage suede lace ups, block heels and a mock reptile shoulder bag.
A crystal bangle, and leaf shaped earrings, embedded with crystals to accessorize.

This wear, I took off the wide belt that came with the jumper
and layered a navy blazer in a subtle plaid on top.

Worn with navy suede booties and a metallic quilted bag.
Modern bold silver tone tube necklace, and simple cuff bracelet
finish off this look.

The last wear is with a black and white windowpane plaid blouse under the dress.
I love that black and white are neutral and go with everything!

Worn with black stack heel pumps, and a two tone mini bucket bag.
Gold tone and black enameled bracelet and the square stud earrings
that are my "go to's".

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I'm really looking forward to spring like whether, and the fun project
of changing out my winter wardrobe for spring!

Faux suede vest three ways

This grey faux suede moto inspired vest has been very useful this fall and winter season.
It has helped me remix and change up other items in my closet.

In this first outfit, the vest is partially zipped up and worn belted
over a geometric print sheath dress.

Accessorized with a bright pink bag, embossed belt and minimalist silver tone jewelry.

Back in the fall, I wore the vest with mixed black and white patterned separates underneath.

Short, low heeled booties for all day walking comfort.
A red clutch and hand crafted red heart earrings for a pop of color,
and finished with a leather and silver tone cuff bracelet.

This day I am overdue for a haircut!
Wearing the vest open over a pink v-neck pullover and a vintage denim straight skirt.

Metallic silver bag, with navy suede booties and a second vintage piece,
a 60's pewter cat pendant.

Happy Monday to all!
