We will probably be digging out from under this one 'till spring!

I don't wear a lot of turtlenecks, but I have a few. They usually only come out during the coldest months. Naturally, one of them is red!
A neutral grey one comes in handy. Next time, I think I'll try a big, colorful scarf over this one.
A burgundy short sleeved one to wear with red, of course.
Re-wearing the one in the top picture, this time layered under a 70's vintage sweater vest.
Hope everyone effected by the blizzard is safe and warm! We are slowly digging ourselves out from under 2 feet of snow, like the majority of the east coast of the US!

The Rorschach (or ink blot) Test dress. The pattern is a little much, even in grey and navy.
Another way, that is not quite so hallucinogenic.
I carried this mini bucket bag with both outfits
A different sweater dress, two different ways
I love these shoes. The heel is low, and there is a zipper in the back, so I don't have to buckle and adjust the straps every time I wear them
Layered up. I think it could do without the belt, I seem to be belt-happy, lately.

More thrifting adventures. More stuff to love!
Wish this blouse had fit, but it was too big. Sigh. I'm sure it will find a good home.
Marsala at the thrift store. So soon? Looks like some people are already tired of it. These pieces seemed really versatile, and the color is so on trend, but since I didn't love, love, love them, I passed.
This is an adorable print, with stylish ensembles on the women parading across the hem in the design of the dress! I just couldn't see myself actually wearing it though.
Love this on someone who could really own it. Rocking two trends at once, zebra, and fringe!
I could think of half a dozen ways to mix this skirt with things already in my closet, and I really wanted it to fit, but not quite.
I did come home with this cute jacket. I think the black and white woven stripes will be versatile and easy to style

Here's a dress that I usually think of as a Spring into Summer dress. It has a geometric print that is very memorable
During the Fall, I experimented with layering it. First, with a teal jacket
And again, with a royal blue blouse and belt
It turned out to be pretty versatile after all!

Time to cull, phase one.
Since the New Year is a time of new beginnings, it seems a good time to take stock in what I have in my wardrobe, and remove things that are not serving me. It's tough for me to let go, but a closet full of items that are continually passed over, and not worn, is not good. So, these are going to be donated, so they can see the light of day, and someone else can love them!
And this one's on probation
There's a lot more to do, and the cold months of January and February seem like a good time to crank up the heat, cozy up, and start sorting!
