Hello, happy halloween to you,
and thanks for stopping by my blog today!
With halloween night fast approaching,
I thought this would be a good time
to style an outfit in orange and black
๐งก๐ค
I bought the vest I am wearing online,
and it was advertised as red and white pinstripe
In person, it clearly looks a deep orange, to me
I could have returned it,
but I was not trying to match a specific shade,
and I kind of like the pop of color that it is,
even though it is not what I anticipated when I ordered it
Wearing the vest over a black and white
Eiffel Tower print shirt,
with black straight leg tailored trousers
Halloween is such a fun holiday,
do you have any spooky plans?
Just a little aside, my younger brother
was born on October 31!
You can just imagine
the ribbing he got when he was a kid
It still continues today from some of his
close friends and family members
Roger is joining me today, in an orange print necktie
and a festive vintage mechanical pumpkin pin
Carrying a
black and tan mini bucket bag with tassels
For jewelry, I chose a cute
vintage 1960's shaggy dog broach,
and bright gold tone three leaf earrings
Oddly, of the drawer full of pins I have,
I chose the same one this week as
the one on the red-orange cardigan sweater
in my blog post last week!
A few extra accessories are a black and white polka dot
bow hairband and a tan woven leather belt
To finish the outfit, some slightly witchy looking
super pointy toe slides, in gray fabric and black leather
They have an unusual conical shaped heel
and a wide buckled perforate instep strap
Here is Roger's orange tie and vintage wind up
ghost-in-a-pumpkin pin
Hope you all enjoy halloween !๐
