I love all shades of blue, and am glad to see one of Pantone's color picks
for this spring is Princess Blue
Princess Blue is a deep, rich and bright shade, a new name for royal blue!
This first outfit is made up of two pieces that have both
been in my wardrobe for over five years
been in my wardrobe for over five years
The sleeveless fit and flare dress was called royal blue back when I purchased it
The cardigan, with it's stripes and flowers in shades of blue and green
pre-dates the current trend of mixing these two prints
Think twice before you "Kondo" classic pieces out of your closet
because what goes around, comes back around!
For jewelry, I wore a muted gold tone choker necklace
and wreath stud earrings
Green tooled leather beat and a blue-green round handle bag to accessorize
Two-toned reptile embossed sling back Mary Janes complete this look
Next, two more classic pieces that pre date the Princess Blue title
so I'll just call them royal
The shirt is a graphic circle print in royal, navy and white
and the pencil skirt is, well, really blue!
Accessorizing with yellow oval enamel cuff bracelet
and blue faceted glass stud earrings
Carrying my vintage 1960's yellow box bag
Nude pumps to finish the look
Lastly, a short sleeve print wrap dress featuring the blue hue of the moment,
along with red, pink, white and black
Shiny silver tone disc necklace
and a heart charm link bracelet
Featuring another of my favorite 1960's vintage box bags
this one in red vinyl
I finally unpacked my spring and summer shoes and am delighted
to put these red and white striped espadrilles back in rotation
Hope everyone is enjoying technicolor spring blooms
in your corner of the world!

Stunning print on that cardigan. I think the princess blue is the new version of cerulean blue... those Pantone people are certainly messing with my head.
I love you are letting your hair grow :) It looks so nice D-
That royal blue is beautiful and paired with the yellow... even better! Love your styling of the skirt with the cardigan.
