Easter is on the way!

Happy Easter to everyone, and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Easter is traditionally a time to dress up in our prettiest spring outfits
as we look forward to the glories of the season, and warmer weather
This year, as last year, our family will be continuing the new tradition
of spending Easter quietly at home with only our phones and computers to connect us
(I'm hoping for my shot in the arm soon)
In spite of the continuing distance requirements,
some cheerful Easter finery is definitely in order!

My first outfit this week is a kaleidoscope of springtime color
The skirt is a lively multi-color circle design
that I've had for years, and it never fails to put a smile on my face-
it's a keeper!
Wearing the festive skirt with a semi sheer ivory tie neck blouse

Using a long aqua scarf tied in the back as a sash belt

I have had a lot of fun experimenting with my scarves lately-
wearing them different ways like as tie belts, in my hair and of course around my neck
I have recently seen bracelets designed with mini scarves tied in bows as part of the design-
Right up my alley!

Wearing a silver tone bow necklace and turquoise stone stud earrings for jewelry

Carrying a much loved fuchsia convertible clutch
to add another pop of color!

I chose distressed silver low heel sling backs to complete this look

Another holiday outfit with only a touch of soft pastel color, but a lot of texture
It's a white sleeveless dress with beautiful scrolled design cutwork
worn over a white blouse with sheer lace short sleeves

Another scarf as a sash belt, this time tied in a bow

It is vintage in the prettiest warm peach and blue tone print

For jewelry, a silver tone open cuff bracelet and ornate drop earrings

Carrying a pale blush faux suede scallop trimmed clutch bag,

and nude color low heel tie pumps to finish the outfit

Flashback to Easter 2018, in a lilac cardigan over a floral dress
Coincidentally, wearing the same shoes and bag as this year!

Some cute and sweet Easter treats-
Hope the Easter Bunny is good to you!

What's blooming now- all the yellow and purples!

And hope everyone enjoys the week!

Each of these are perfect for Easter. I will probably wear two different outfits for the two different church services we will be going to.

I thought that scarf in the first outfit was part of the skirt! It looks so beautiful and matches perfectly! I love the bright colors in it!

Your skirt is absolutely fabulous! So colorful and dramatic. Clever touch using scarves as belts. You will look wonderful over Easter. We will be seeing family but it has to be outdoors, and the forecast is not great. I will be wearing my padded coat!

I love that first skirt! these are such nice spring outfits and of course I like the treats and the flowers at the end :) It's a shame that you can't spend it with family but thank goodness for technology keeping us connected! :)

Hope you are having a good Easter weekend :)
