Strawberry Tee Time

Hello, and thanks for stopping by my blog

I hope everyone who celebrates,

had a great Memorial Day holiday!

 I usually don't post outfits this casual,

with the main feature a tee shirt,

 but this one was too cute to leave out

The tee is by Lucky Brand, and is super soft

 I've had it a few years, and

  I think the strawberry print is just adorable!

 The red berries have little white polka dots

 and green stems 

The berries are embroidered

 in a random scattered print

Are you a fan of novelty tee shirts?

Fruit prints are especially popular this season,

 and are always a hit during the spring and summer months

To make this outfit a little different,

I am wearing my dark gray brushed twill trousers 

They are current, but have a bit of a retro vibe

with a mid rise and boot cut

 

Carrying a very unusual red patent leather

 vintage 1960s handbag

 It is quite edgy and tough for the time,

with studs and square hardware,

 and square handles 

 I imagine it being carried in the 60's

by a fashionable young woman

 who was very bold with her fashion choices

Other accessories to make this simple outfit special,

 are a red leather belt and silver tone jewelry

 The multiple bar cuff bracelet is current

  and the earrings are vintage from the 50's

 They are a motif of three etched leaves

 arranged in a 3-D triangle shape

 

 The scarf in my hair actually inspired me

 to put this outfit together,

 It is also a strawberry print in the same colors

 as the novelty tee shirt 

Grey suede cross strap block heels to finish the outfit

Our neighbor's mailbox decked out for the holiday

The previous owner of this house hand painted the box

The flower is a two toned purple Iris,

 and a hummingbird is in the composition

So pretty and special!
