Spring Print Mix-Stripes and Florals

This week I am sharing a couple of casual pattern mixed outfits  

 Spring is slowly turning into summer

and my warm weather pieces are coming out of the closet more and more often 

 

This first outfit is a subtle mix of stripes and florals,  

with aqua and white as colors common to both patterns

Wearing an aqua and white mini  striped scoop neck top

 and bringing my white denim straight leg jeans 

out for the first time this season!

To elevate this outfit I little bit out of the basic,

I added a scarf in a happy floral and paisley print of clear, cool spring colors- 

two shades of pink, aqua, turquoise, white and spring green  

Carrying a bag in another pattern-a step out of the comfort zone for me!

A pink and white gingham check tote with natural leather handles

I also added a shiny pink belt

The sweet silk scarf was a special issue from Lilly Pulitzer in 2004

I picked out silver tone and aqua for my jewelry

Aqua colored stone shape stud earrings

and a 50's vintage atomic motif bracelet

 

Tan low block heel ankle strap sandals to finish the outfit 

Here is another casual spring look with a stripe and floral pattern mix

 Wearing a blazer style jacket in shades of candy pink and white

over a pink and white daisy printed blouse

I choose light wash mid rise ankle cropped denim jeans

to complement all this pink! 

Carrying a light tan quilted half circle bag

For this outfit, I chose silver tone jewelry again

I tend to wear my silver accessories a lot in the warm spring and summer months 

Chunky chain link heart charm bracelet,

blingy star stud earrings with rhinestone centers 

and a daisy shaped pendant necklace that by chance matches

the daisy print on the blouse

Lots of matchy-matchy style going on in these two outfits!

Light tan braided block heel sandals to finish the look

I love this style of sandal, but have not been able to find a pair

that really fit my narrow feet

These are the best fit I have found

they are a great looking dupe, and are well priced-from Target 

 Stripes and flowers, swirls and polka dots from 2019-

this is one busy mix of patterns!

A colorful late spring bouquet of petunias, dianthus and mint
