I know some of you are excited and happy for fall to begin
with the hustle and bustle of back to school time
But there is still a full month of summer left
and I want to continue to bask in summer's glow a little bit longer
It has been an exceptionally moderate and lovely one for us, weather wise
here in Maryland
Are you a warm or cold weather girl?
Many are ready and waiting to pull out those boots and chunky knit sweaters,
and can't wait for the next fashion season to begin!
I like to hold on to summer as long as I can
Don't get me wrong, I love fall and the cascade of holidays to come
Autumn weather in general, is pretty nice here,
but I like to pause and squeeze the last, lovely warmth
and vacation feeling out of summertime 🌞⛱
Today I am featuring two warm weather looks
The first one, I will probably be packing away for the change of seasons soon,
but the dress in the second outfit, I may leave out to restyle for fall
Wearing a bright coral boho inspired blouse with white embroidery
and ruffled, floaty cap sleeves with my favorite white denim jeans
Such pretty details on this blouse!
Carrying my bronze metallic bag for essentials
with a vintage coral and turquoise print scarf tied on the handle
For jewelry, some well loved gold tone pieces
A starfish bracelet, hoop earrings, and birds on a branch necklace
Finishing this casual outfit with comfortable strapy bronze metallic flat sandals
Another outfit, with a bit of a boho twist
which is a style that always brings summer to mind for me,
thanks to the tie dyed scarf
Wearing a sky blue dress with a deep ruffled hem
This dress has a matching slip layer underneath,
but the dress is lightweight but not sheer, so it can be worn with or without the slip layer
The long rectangular tie dyed scarf in blues and aquas
To continue with the boho theme,
I chose a silver wrap bracelet that I have had since my teens (memories!)
Not much jewelry has stayed with me this long
Also wearing large, silver tone hoop earrings
Carrying a tan, faux suede boxy camera bag style purse
Comfortable low heel ankle strap sandals to complete the look
An outfit from the end of summer 2019,
when the belt bag (fanny pack) first came back in!
Can I please have my 2019 hair back? Menopause has taken it's toll

Ready for fall here but won't be wearing any fall clothes anytime soon. In a month I might be able to wear a pair of jeans... I am wearing some fall colors though some, some browns and olives with my tanks, skirts and dresses.

Your coral top is so pretty, but that blue outfit is calling my name! The colors are beautiful together and I love the scarf!
My favorite is the coral top with white, such a fresh and pretty combination! I used to dread fall and winter, but now I look forward to them. Each season has its pros and cons. I still get a lot of hot flashes so I will sleep easier in winter when it's not so hot! Have a great rest of the week.
The coral blouse is fabulous! It has turned a bit cooler here in the UK so I'm wearing light jackets. I want to hang to summer for as long as possible so I'm hoping we get some warm weather in September. Thanks for linking up!
